What's a reference?
My commission-wise definition of a reference is a bundle of custom items. While my design orders may be considered references by others, they're technically just designs. A reference commission is a collection of art that includes a headshot, an action shot, and a side view with an extended page dedicated to explaining their markings and physical features. Reference orders are for already existed, already designed characters. A design may be ordered alongside a reference, but my reference bundles do not include designing a character on their own.

Simplified markingsProfile views of an existing character that show off their physical traits and describe how to color them, as well as any other design notes. These are intended for commission use - this is what you'd hand an artist when getting a drawing of your character done. The information on the page will be relevant to other artists and anyone who will draw the character.
Simplified markings charts by default come with the side view (both sides) and custom eyes. Add-ons are available, though! Base price: $65 Add-ons
